Kris and Julie brought their girls, Emilie and McKenzie to see us for week. They arrived on Friday late at night so they spent Saturday just resting from the long drive. We went to church on Sunday and went out to see the
Great-Grandparents, Tim's mom and dad.
Tim and I get to see his parents every month but Kris, Julie, Emilie and McKenzie haven't seen them for a few years so it was nice to see them all together.
On Monday we went out to Forks, Washington. It seems to be the place that all of my recent guests want to see. Of course most of them have really enjoyed a set of books that are set in this very small town. I had a great time showing the girls around and taking pictures of them. The girls loved seeing all of the places that were in the books. We also had a great time putting our toes in the Pacific Ocean.
On Tuesday we headed down to Point Defiance State Park. Off to the zoo and aquarium. We saw everything there was to see and more.
There were seals and polar bears and of course the birds that we fed off of a little stick. The zoo also has some new additions of tiger cubs. We had a great day!
On Wednesday we went to the movie together and then rested up for our big day in Seattle on Thursday. We started out with the Duck tours and then spent the day at the Seattle Center.
The Experience Music Project and SciFi Museum were really fun.
On Friday it was time for our guests to leave but we couldn't let them go until we took some more pictures.
